Equity Shopfitting & Construction Ltd carried out work for us consisting of taking out the front of the house ready for a two storey extension to be built. Working from Architects plans with structural engineers and planning thanks to Equity we now have a beautiful home.

Communication was excellent. Peter even met us at the builder’s merchants to reassure us that we had the correct sizes and fittings. We trusted Peter to source materials for flooring and doors, including ‘made to measure’ folding patio doors etc. Peter also made many helpful suggestions to solve unforeseen problems, plus, made cupboards to fit awkward spaces.

We had complete confidence in Peter’s project management of plumbers, tilers, electricians etc. They turned up and did the job on time. During site visits, it was noted how tidy things were left, which was highly appreciated, due to us living there at the time. We have been impressed on the attention to detail throughout the building works and following completion.All visitors to our home remark on the high standard of workmanship, painting, woodwork, plastering, tiles etc and we have been confident in recommending Equity to them.

During the Autumn of 2008 Peter Burke (Equity) completed a kitchen/dining room extension which included electronic velux windows, sliding doors for alfresco living to our garden, complete underfloor heating to the ground floor and installation of a new woodburner. The work started on plan and throughout the work any changes we requested were accommodated. Unforeseen problems were quickly discussed and resolved.
