Trafford Centre

The Trafford Centre is the largest indoor shopping centre in the Northwest. Situated just 5 miles outside Manchester city centre, visitors have the choice of over 200 stores along three miles of granite and marble boulevards. Stores range from designer and high fashion favourites, including the first Selfridges outside London, to stylish home wares at Barton Square. It has Europe's largest food court in The Orient and the UK's busiest cinema, attracting more than 28,500 visitors each week and there are over 11,500 car parking spaces.

The project was to manufacture the ceiling formers and erecting them to their final location of the ceilings of the car park towers to the Trafford Centre’s Car Parks this had a restricted height up to the first floor of the Car Park. They were broken down into several sections and manufactured off site. They were cladded with a fire resistant superlux arrised edged section plank. The contract was completed on time and within budget.

We excelled so much that as a result of this project we were able to secure a further £2 million worth of new installation work on the Trafford Centre.
